The Return of Washington’s Football Team Makes Progress

Sen. Steve Daines (R-Mont.) has shifted to support the RFK bill, citing progress in discussions surrounding the Washington Commanders’ logo.

Daines noted that the Native American family credited with designing the logo is “satisfied” with the team’s efforts to honor it.

“There’s good faith negotiation going on. There’s trust being built,” Daines said, emphasizing the importance of collaboration and respect for cultural heritage in the ongoing discussions.
