Washington Wizards November 2024 Highlights

Closing out another eventful month, despite the continued losses, the Washington Wizards still made a lot of accomplishments and I’m highlighting a few of the positives that happened in November!

Going Global
The Wizards kicked off the month in our neighboring country, Mexico at Arena CDMX for the NBA Mexico City game!
Celebrity Sightings
A few familiar faces made their way to Capital One Arena in November! DC family from the Washington Commanders, Jayden Daniels and Terry McLaurin, and from the Washington Capitals, Alex Ovechkin, took some time out to enjoy and flick it up at the game. Plus Bill Nye the Science guy, The DMV’s own Wale, Olympians Trevon Jenifer and Masai Russell all attended games last month!
November Player Accomplishments
Rookie Kyshawn George achieved his career high of 20 points, 6 3PM and 6 REB. Jordan Poole got a season-high of 42 points during the Wizards game against the Spurs. Alex Starr achieved his career-high of 20 points and Malcolm Brogdon celebrated 2,500 career buckets made!
November Community Highlights
On November 20th, Wizard players distributed hot meals and pantry staples with Martha’s Table to over 1,000 families in Wards 7 & 8 as part of their annual Thankful Meals event!
The Wizards also hosted the kidssportsreporters and let them in on the behind the scenes of being a player and an NBA reporter.
The Wizards also debuted their City Edition Jersey spotlighting Benjamin Banneker! That Hydrogen Blue really pops!
We’re definitely hoping for more winning games in December but we know the team will bring it on and off the court! Make sure to check back with us for more highlights this season!
