Congrats are in order for Wizards forward/center Alex Sarr who was named the Eastern Conference Rookie of the Month for games played in December!

Some notable stats from Sarr in December include him leading all rookies in points (13.8), three-pointers (2.2), and blocks (1.7) per game! While also leading all Eastern Conference rookies in rebounds per game (6.3) at the same time. Plus Sarr had the best percentage of any rookie with at least 40 three-point attempts in December and 10+ points in all nine of his appearances, the most by any Eastern Conference rookie.

Sarr joined the NBA by being the 2nd overall player in the 2024 NBA Draft chosen by The Wizards making him Washington’s first Rookie of the Month selection since Bradley Beal last won the award in January 2013.
