In 1994, a pair of ATLiens descended onto the music scene with their debut album, Southernplayalisticadillacmuzik, changing the hip-hop landscape in a way no one imagined. With that first move, Outkast made a statement: “The South got something to say!”

Over 30 years later, the dynamic duo of Big Boi and André 3000 have a chance to solidify their place in music history. On Wednesday (Feb. 12), the pair received a nomination for induction into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame’s class of 2025. The 6x GRAMMY-winning act faces stiff competition, including Mariah Carey, Billy Idol, The White Stripes, and more.

Fans will have the opportunity to cast their vote at rockhall.com, with the induction ceremony set to take place later this year.

If there is any doubt that Outkast is more than worthy of this prestigious honor, scroll down to look at some of their classics!
