In football, the defensive line also known as the DL, is responsible for pressuring the opposing team’s quarterback and stopping their running game. The DL includes the following positions; Defensive tackle (DT), Nose tackle (NT), Defensive end (DE), Linebackers (LB), Middle linebacker (MLB), Outside linebacker (OLB), Defensive backs (DB), Cornerback (CB) and Safety (S).
