8. Jeremy McNichols (RB)
The Washington Commanders have re-signed running back Jeremy McNichols to a one-year deal, securing depth for their backfield. Serving as the #3 RB behind Brian Robinson Jr. and Austin Ekeler in 2024, McNichols proved to be a reliable contributor. He competed strongly, beating out others like Chris Rodriguez Jr. and undrafted rookie Michael Wiley for his spot on the roster.
During the 2024 season, McNichols rushed 55 times for 261 yards, scoring four touchdowns with an average of 4.7 yards per carry. He also made nine receptions for 27 yards and played a role in special teams, recording seven kickoff returns for 164 yards, averaging 23.4 yards per return.
McNichols’ versatility as a runner, receiver, and special teams asset makes him an important piece for the Commanders’ roster stability. His return reinforces the team’s depth as they aim to build on their success in the upcoming NFL season.
9. Will Harris (S)

The Washington Commanders have bolstered their secondary by signing safety Will Harris to a two-year deal worth up to $10 million. Harris, 29, joins the Commanders after spending the 2024 season with the New Orleans Saints and five prior years with the Detroit Lions. Over his career, he has recorded 320 tackles, three interceptions, and 1.5 sacks in 94 games. Last season, Harris contributed 74 tackles and one interception across 13 games.
